HS: 2017 we had around 60 pumpkin rollers
MF: we’re looking for volunteers for prize apple pies for winners
HS: Sadie Mahom-Moore will volunteer to help with greeting table
: Can we get David Rondina to organize the set up?
: we need cider, paper cups, bowls, napkins, spoons,
PG to buy electric tea lights
MF to call Jim Mias to see if he’d like to help string the lights
PG: It’s up to Tim how many groups there are.
HS: only prizes for 1st and 2nd place
KN: $100 budget for prizes
HS: wants to set up an honorable mention for carving that looks like a kid did it
MF: to reach out to David
Other news:
KN: to write up blurb for the Beaver Brook Conservation lot
Beaver Brook walk took in $600, of which LCA is due back $200
HS would like to use the funds for to replace a rope rail on the orange trail at Roberts Hill and remark (repaint) trail markers
HS: Meeting on Oct 24th with Rachel Moire, Bob Zimmerman (Beaver Brook) G Kahout, (KN, PG, HS representing LCA, about an Conservation Ranger
HS to organize an agenda for the meeting
KN: Can we publish the annual conservation report on the LCA website?
HS: yes, we can upload them
PG: Rachel Moire told her that we can lobby for city funds due to damage caused by covid
Vet Council
KN: check sent to Vet Council has not been cashed. Bank charges $30 to cancel it. We’re just going to ignore it and send resend them a new check
PG: to bring new check to Vet Council
Parking:
KN: parking / traffic data for Florence ST.
PG: Rachel Moire suggested the parking could be changed to seasonal
