LCA Meeting November 22, 2023

• We talked about the EDDM newsletter articles. EDDM will go out the week before Christmas or week after. If you’d like to submit an article, please send soon.
• Date for the Pizza Party is March 2, 2024 at the Elks.
• We need volunteers to put up the holiday lights at Mulberry garden. The bin of lights and cords are in my barn and accessible to anyone who is interested.
• Considering changing the monthly meeting date to accommodate those with less flexible hours. David, Marc,Tim and Karyn could consider if there is a day/time that would work better for their busy schedules.
• Begin conversations with friends and neighbors who might like to attend a meeting with no pressure to join… just to come and chat about ideas for Leeds.
• Update on multi-village Mill River Flood 150th Anniversary commemoration
• MR Flood commemoration 2024 date (Leeds only). Possibly Saturday May 11 or Sunday 12, 2024. The greater opening event will be Saturday, May 18 in Williamsburg. The thinking is to schedule our commemoration for Leeds victims ahead of college and high school graduations. Let’s discuss more at December meeting.
• Will pay dues for Vet’s council ($25).
