Bridge update

KN – The contractor hired a third party to run further tests to refine the scope of the RFP. 

Conservation:

HS – Beaver brook walk is scheduled for Sept 24th

• Could whoever attends, please write up blurb for newsletter
• HS spoke to Jason who reported he got  Steve McDonough and Lara Sanderson help with the trail committee, which consists of walking the Conservation area property and writing up reports. Steve did Beaver Brook.  Lara will walk Roberts Hill.

River Clean up

HS: River clean up was done mostly in the morning and got George Kohout to help

Also spent time in the after as a “River Ranger” to talk to people and ask them to help with trash

HS observed that there’s less trash after social engagement. 

How to Advocate for Northampton Conservation Area Ranger

Millriver:

HS – River tested positive twice for high levels of e coli

• Pamela and Elsie Cobb have been gathering water samples regularly on Thursdays 

Traffic study

KN will look into traffic study on Florence st

Pumpkin Party

Tim Recuber will recrute Chris Steed and Constantine will lead. 

MF will help organize food portion
