Mill River Folk Art

Down on the Mill River, just upstream from the Orange or Top Dam, on the gravelly sandbar island, there’s an exhibit of local art that shouldn’t be missed. Some Leeds resident has used natural river artifacts (pottery, glass, old iron pieces and driftwood) to create a wonderful testament to the many people, places and things that have co-existed by the river. Get down there soon as the next big storm may just move this folk art back to the river whence it came.
