      1. Planning office asking for feedback for signage on rail trail to be placed where \u00a0Rail Trail crosses Mulberry St at the small park<\/li>\n
      2. Concrete pads are already in place and prepared for trail maps and directions plus short explanations of the area and its history<\/li>\n
      3. Suggest adding language to encourage riders to go to Main St. and visit the Flood Memorial and Hotel Bridge (unfinished)<\/strong><\/li>\n
      4. Add flood date of May 16, 1874 (unfinished)<\/strong><\/li>\n
      5. George will ask town about status of a sign on rail trail going to Williamsburg\/Grove Ave (update)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        5)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Newsletter<\/p>\n

        1. Lets establish due dates for Newsletter material\u00a0 (unfinished)<\/strong><\/li>\n
        2. Need more contributions to the Newsletter.\u00a0 Lets advertise and suggest topics for readers to write in about: History, Events, Obituaries, Memorials, Nature, Community Topics, Thank Yous, Daily Observations, Educational, Reminder of Dues, list of LCA Events<\/li>\n
        3. Usually we produce 9 newsletters per year, last year was only 6.\u00a0 It depends on the time and quantity of LCA events.<\/li>\n
        4. Distributed via approximately\u00a0 120 emails and 20 hard copies<\/li>\n
        5. George will ask Heidi Stevens to put the Newsletter together every other month.\u00a0 (update)<\/strong>\u00a0 Charge copies to Collective Copies<\/li>\n

          6)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Hotel Bridge Update: CPA gave LCA $35k for an engineering study for the Hotel Bridge.\u00a0 As of this meeting, nothing has been done other than close the bridge due to \u201cliability\u2019s sake\u201d. Waiting for update from N\u2019ton DPW and to schedule community meeting w\/ engineers (Stantec)<\/p>\n

          7)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 New Beaver Brook Conservation Area; City purchased 2 lots across from Electric Company on Rte 9<\/p>\n

            \n
          1. These parcels will serve as a Gateway to Northampton and also as an entrance to the larger Beaver Brook \/ Broad brook conservation area that extends \u00a0across Beaver Brook to back of North Farms road. The parcel may need maintenance from LCA in\u00a0 the spring<\/li>\n
          2. \u00a0(hand out)<\/li>\n
          3. $1k is allocated toward the sign for the \u201cgateway project\u201d.\u00a0 The conservation area (Beaver Brook, Broad Brook) needs to be officially named for the sign. (unfinished)<\/strong><\/li>\n

          5. Deb J and Alice B are the LCA reps to the Gateway Committee and will give feedback for signage at tomorrow\u2019s (12\/14)town meeting (update)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            8)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Website \u2013 George, David, and Joel will meet at the end of the meeting to discuss the website.\u00a0 Results will be discussed at next meeting. (update)<\/strong><\/p>\n
