  3. Current Dues received for 2012 = $ 920 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 including seven business memberships<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    2)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 New Business \u2013 John Lutz of Haydenville Road advised the LCA of the following happenings in Leeds:<\/p>\n

    There is a proposed structure to be built by owner John Chakalos (Linda Manor) of 76k sq ft3 story 80 person senior living building on 8-10 acres.\u00a0 There has been limited and\/or short notice of Notice to Abutters regarding the project.\u00a0 He and other neighbors are looking for \u201csensitivity to the locals\u201d throughout this process.\u00a0 They want the LCA and its members to be aware of some of the issues including proximity to the main street and other houses, lighting, traffic, intersections, and its relation to Linda Manor in its operation and organization.<\/p>\n

    3)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Update on Leeds Conservation Areas (handout)<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. The city has money from the state and CPA in the amount of aprox. $89k to buy rights from Mineral Hills in order to expand the conservation areads around the city.\u00a0\u00a0 They are looking for aprox. $40k more.<\/li>\n
    2. Should the LCA spend our money to support this endeavor?<\/li>\n
    3. Alice B. motions for $150.00 grant from LCA funds.\u00a0 Sue C seconds the motions.\u00a0 Unanimous agreement for first vote.<\/li>\n
    4. 2nd<\/sup> and final vote to be taken at next meeting<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      4)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 LCA calendar of events update:<\/p>\n

      1. Pizza Party- looking for organizers and a date still.\u00a0 Florence Civic Center, VFW in Florence, American Legion in Haydenville, Beaver Brook Golf Club are all viable options.<\/li>\n
      2. Sat. April 21st<\/sup> \u2013 Litter Pick Up or Earthday Celebration (new name?) \u00a0rain date 22nd<\/sup> (earthday rec)<\/li>\n
      3. Sun May 20th<\/sup> \u2013 Bike Ride.\u00a0 Rain date 27th<\/sup><\/li>\n
      4. June 3rd<\/sup> \u2013 High Tea<\/li>\n
      5. June-Aug \u2013 Saturday Night Movies on Yankee Hill, plus at least one on the common<\/li>\n

        6)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Website \u2013 We now have outdated software that is no longer supported.\u00a0 LCA has authorized Joel to look for and purchase a new web design software in the $100 range<\/p>\n

        7)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Joel asks about maintenance in the Veteran\u2019s Memorial Park across from Leeds School.<\/p>\n

        1. Can the marble and bronze, etc be cleaned?\u00a0 He will check with Brad Levay who has performed this before<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
